YWCA Utah is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher - Floater to join their team. This role is responsible for assisting in the planning, implementation, and supervision of educational activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their emotional and physical growth. The Assistant Teacher will provide developmentally appropriate care, guidance, and support to the children, assist them in acquiring social skills, and supervise feeding schedules. A key part of the role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and nurturing environment that reflects the cultural diversity of the children. The position also requires accurate record-keeping, monitoring the health and well-being of the children, and ensuring compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. The Assistant Teacher will collaborate with the teaching team and Lead Teacher to prepare materials and lesson plans, and maintain awareness of developmental guidelines and behavior management techniques.
