About The Position
The Learning Experience – Beltline is seeking a dependable Assistant Teacher / Floater to support multiple classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children. This role helps maintain a safe, engaging learning environment while providing flexible classroom coverage throughout the day. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a variety of age groups and supporting teachers across different classroom settings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior childcare or preschool experience preferred
- Comfortable supporting multiple classrooms and age groups
- Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Ability to meet state childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support across infant, toddler, and preschool programs
- Assist teachers with daily routines including meals, activities, and transitions
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Support supervision during playground time and group activities
- Prepare materials for classroom lessons and learning centers
- Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and coverage
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Follow all state licensing and health and safety requirements
