About The Position
The Assistant Swim/Dive Coach will be responsible for assisting in the coaching of the swim and dive team. This role requires extensive knowledge of the sport's rules and skills, a program-centered approach, and the ability to work well with children. The coach must also possess knowledge of VHSL rules and exhibit good sportsmanship.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in the sport.
- Program centered approach.
- Specific skills and good sportsmanship.
- Knowledge of VHSL rules.
- Ability to work well with children.
- Previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level.
- Must submit a standard on-line application.
- Must submit two letters of reference.
- Must submit a recent TB test or screening.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach.
