About The Position

Requirements

  • Successful applicants must comply with the OHA rule on the COVID-19 vaccine mandate by either being fully vaccinated or have an accepted religious or medical exception by the South Lane School District.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior coaching experience preferred at the high school level or club level.
  • High School teaching or work experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coach both the boys and girls swim teams
  • Monitor academic progress and eligibility
  • Effectively analyze and teach the fundamentals skills and strategies of the sport
  • Assist with planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluation practices session along with develop, implement, and evaluate match plans and strategies
  • Serve as a leader, mentor, and role-model to the student-athletes of the program
  • Work with AD to prepare competitive team schedule, and fund-raising initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all CGHS athletic department, OSAA policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to serve the entire CGHS Athletic Department through supporting other programs, assisting in off-season game and event management, and willingness and ability to fund-raise.
