This role will lead all aspects of daily operations within one or more of the following Entertainment Operations work groups (stage, performance operations, costume characters, audio, video, lighting, and stagehands). You will coach, mentor, direct, evaluate, and schedule staff. You will also lead the interview and orientation process of new ambassadors, lead training and development of new and existing ambassadors, write evaluations and assist in the development of ambassadors, and review the annual performance appraisal with ambassadors. You will work with the show producer and performance operations to maintain show standards, maintain area labor and expense budgets, produce and maintain accurate documentation, and maintain a safe work environment and safety requirements. You will also maintain cleanliness of all assigned work areas, maintain, uphold and respect all ambassador confidentiality and leadership issues, and ensure excellence in customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations and needs. You will maintain a positive and flexible attitude, model company trainings related to guest interactions and animal areas, and occasionally may assist other locations and areas throughout the park as needed. You will communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests and perform other duties as assigned.
