About The Position

The Assistant Supervisor, Business Administration prioritizes the customer experience through active supervision and fosters a strong service culture. As a member of the Store Leadership Team, this role communicates expectations and priorities to associates, supports an engaging environment for customers and colleagues, and champions exceptional service by role modeling desired behaviors and providing real-time coaching and feedback. The Assistant Supervisor, Business Administration supports daily store operations by maintaining an organized Store Management Office, overseeing administrative and human resources activities, and coordinating internal communications to ensure operational excellence. The Assistant Supervisor, Business Administration manages key business functions, including store scheduling, cash office operations, new hire onboarding, and colleague engagement initiatives. This role serves as a primary point of contact for store colleagues and leadership, acting as a liaison for HR-related matters, coordinating onboarding documentation and training sessions, and supporting workforce administration. Additionally, the Assistant Supervisor, Business Administration maintains recognition programs, distributes operational reports, balances the vault, and coordinates maintenance requests. Through professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail, this role ensures a well-organized, efficient, and supportive store environment that enables leadership and associates to focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide active supervision by directing and redirecting colleagues, supporting leadership priorities, and assisting AST colleagues with daily responsibilities to optimize the customer experience.
  • Maintain flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Resolve customer service issues promptly and to completion.
  • Model effective relationship-building behaviors with customers; provide real-time coaching and feedback to colleagues and recognize strong customer-focused performance.
  • Foster a proactive, solution-oriented, customer-centric culture that delivers consistent customer experiences.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in store systems, including POS, MPOS, RF equipment, MyClient, and the MyStore App, and train colleagues on their effective use.
  • Support colleagues with timekeeping and attendance matters, including clock corrections, paid time off requests, and related inquiries.
  • Partner with Colleague Support to address and resolve employee relations concerns.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • Maintain an organized Store Management Office.
