We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent who is ready to take their construction career to the next level. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and management of daily field operations for state-of-the-art medical office projects. Working closely with experienced Superintendents, you will ensure compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks while helping to deliver projects that directly impact healthcare communities across the country. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of construction experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and industry standards.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with construction software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and Procore.
  • Understanding of OSHA safety standards and compliance requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30-hour certification.
  • Experience with Lean Construction or BIM processes.
  • Background in healthcare or medical facility construction.

Responsibilities

  • Support field operations to ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality goals are achieved.
  • Coordinate and lead specific trades or phases of work.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and document progress.
  • Enforce safety policies and conduct toolbox talks.
  • Participate in daily site walk-throughs and issue tracking.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and schedules for assigned scopes.
  • Contribute to short-term scheduling and sequencing of activities.
  • Serve as on-site lead in the Superintendent’s absence.
