Requirements

  • Recent or soon-to-be graduate of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program (other related engineering majors will be considered)
  • A strong interest in the construction process, specifically design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds, etc.
  • Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s licenses in your state of residence
  • Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in construction preferred, but not required
  • GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Attend post-award meetings to review project details and assist with construction planning before work begins.
  • Work with the Project Manager to develop construction schedules, sequencing, staffing plans, and equipment needs.
  • Oversee daily construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications.
  • Manage subcontractor activities, communicate schedule updates, and ensure work is properly coordinated across trades.
  • Assist with material deliveries, equipment coordination, shop drawing approvals, and material submittals.
  • Help prepare job progress reports, review field purchase orders and invoices, and monitor project costs.
  • Maintain regular communication with owners, architects, and project stakeholders regarding project progress and field activities.
  • Lead and participate in jobsite coordination meetings with project managers, regional managers, subcontractors, and other project team members.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and jobsite records, including project activities, site conditions, visitors, and key project decisions.
  • Promote and enforce the company's safety program while maintaining a safe, productive jobsite for all team members.
  • Partner with Project Managers and field teams to understand how office and field operations work together to successfully deliver projects.
