The Assistant Superintendent will oversee daily construction operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a commitment to safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or related roles, with a focus on field operations.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and building codes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

  • Assist day-to-day contact with Owner(s) to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist in the management of all aspects of construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Provide oversight of subcontractors and employees to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor safety practices on-site, promoting a culture of safety compliance and awareness.
  • Assist in scheduling project tasks and coordinating with various teams to optimize workflow.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Facilitate communication between team members, subcontractors, and management to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Document daily site activities and report progress to the Superintendent.
