Under the general direction of the Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources oversees the implementation of recruitment, retention, and development efforts in partnership with District departments. The Assistant Superintendent leads efforts to support its workforce, and ensures compliance with state and federal laws. The Assistant Superintendent promotes the strategic efforts of the District, integrating them in all aspects of the recruitment, retention, and development of a high quality workforce. The Assistant Superintendent provides leadership for planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating the human resources and employee relations functions of the district.
