About The Position

The Assistant Stylist supports the creation of images for Nordstrom and the online store. The Assistant is responsible for the prepping of merchandise, inventory control and the organization of merchandise for the daily shoots. Flexibility in hours during peak periods will be required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Associates of Arts degree or equivalent experience
2+ years on-figure, high volume, e-commerce assisting experience
Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated understanding of high-end retail and the service environment of Nordstrom
Proficiency with knowledge of Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

Detailed and professional preparation of samples for product and on figure photography
Exceptional steaming and ironing skills
Complete knowledge of fabrics, care and proper handling
Provide accurate labeling of product at receipt, during shoot and upon return
Maintain an accurate system of tracking, storing merchandise and organize the styling area and supplies
Team with Merch Coordinator, Producers, Stylists, Digi Techs and Photographers to ensure efficient workflow and strong results
Communicate with Product Coordinators to ensure proper handling of merchandise
