About The Position

The Assistant Major League Strength and Conditioning Coach will be an integral part of a dynamic team within a high-performance professional baseball environment. This role involves supporting the Head Major League Strength and Conditioning Coach in delivery of Strength & Conditioning services to the Major League Team. We are seeking a motivated individual who is eager to build strong relationships, foster interdepartmental collaboration, and maintain consistent, effective communication. The ideal candidate will contribute to a culture of progressive thinking and innovation.

Requirements

CSCS and RSCC certifications
Must be a committed professional, with strong analytic focus.
Ability to relate to athletes and generate program buy-in.

Responsibilities

Hold the gym environment to a high standard and in line with current cultural expectations.
Create and develop program design models for use in daily preparation, lifting, and conditioning in a professional baseball setting.
Assist in the creation and development of player performance screens and assessments.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly reports from MLB athletes.
Communicate with Athletic Training, Rehab, PT staff daily to provide a team first approach.
Collaborate with field staff & coordinators to maximize player performance.
Assist Director of Player Performance to act as a support system for the S&C coaches for questions and clarifications.
Communicate with the Major League S&C Staff to maintain uniformity throughout the organization to provide a seamless transition for all return-to-play athletes under 40-man regulations.
Assist in managing budget and financial reporting.
