About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager represents HUGO BOSS by delivering an exceptional shopping experience, presenting merchandise in a way that showcases the brand, and executing operational strategies that support positive operating profits. The role helps lead store staff and operations, driving sales, profitability, inventory control, customer relationships, and compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Two to three years of Specialty Retail Management experience.
• Strong customer service and selling experience.
• Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
• Strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to process information and merchandise through computer and POS register systems.
• Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
• Ability to work varied hours and days to oversee store operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• High level of taste and sophistication consistent with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop staff using effective communication, support exceptional customer service, work with the merchant group to drive business, and help solve problems.
• Lead the team toward positive results by supporting sales, profit and loss management, and inventory control.
• Establish a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, building a client base, and exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures through regular management and staff meetings, store walk-throughs, and audits.
• Monitor performance, provide direction, and take corrective action when needed.
• Build relationships with the community through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
• Evaluate performance issues and actively recruit candidates.
• Assist with implementing Health & Safety policies and operating procedures, using provided training and guidance to support store management.
• Follow local laws and regulations and HUGO BOSS Health & Safety standards.
• Ensure Health & Safety documentation is recorded and maintained.
