About The Position

Cozy Earth, a rapidly growing company specializing in luxury home goods and apparel, is seeking an experienced and energetic Assistant Store Manager for its Corona Del Mar location. This role is crucial in delivering an exceptional in-store customer experience, partnering with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop the team, and maintain high operational standards. Cozy Earth is known for its temperature-regulating bedding, sleepwear, loungewear, and bath products, and has been recognized on "Oprah's Favorite Things" for seven consecutive years.

Requirements

Previous retail leadership experience, preferably in a premium, luxury, or customer-focused environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team.
Demonstrated ability to drive sales results and coach a team against key performance indicators.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Comfortable using retail technology and clienteling tools to support the customer experience and business performance.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, stocking, and floor resets.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Store Manager to lead, train, coach, and inspire store associates.
Serve as Manager on Duty and take ownership of the business, customer experience, and team execution in the Store Manager's absence.
Deliver and reinforce exceptional service by modeling best-in-class customer interactions.
Ensure store presentation and product displays reflect the Cozy Earth brand.
Partner with the Store Manager to drive store sales goals and key performance indicators by motivating the team, coaching in real time, and supporting strong daily floor execution.
Model and reinforce a relationship-driven selling culture, building meaningful customer connections and supporting the team in client outreach, follow-up, and retention.
Partner with the Store Manager to maintain elevated visual merchandising, product presentation, and overall store standards consistent with the Cozy Earth brand.
Assist with daily operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, compliance with policies, and adherence to company standards.
Share responsibility for inventory accuracy, product availability, shipment processing, and regular audits to minimize shrinkage.
Support the execution of compliant practices, reporting, and communication with HQ as needed.
Represent Cozy Earth in local events and initiatives, building connections with the community.
Identify opportunities for improvement and partner with the Store Manager to implement solutions that enhance the customer and team experience.
Perform other duties as assigned.
