About The Position
Goodwill Industries--Knoxville, Inc. is seeking a full-time Assistant Retail Store Manager. Ideal candidates will be energetic, flexible, have excellent customer service skills, reliable transportation and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Requirements
- 6 months – 1 year experience in supporting daily store operations and team leadership
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a passion for helping others
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Regularly required to stand and/or walk for long periods
- Use hands to handle
- Reach with hands and arms
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 20 lbs. of force frequently
Nice To Haves
- Retail leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support daily store operations and team leadership (6 months – 1 year experience)
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Help drive sales, merchandising, and donation processing
- Train, motivate, and inspire team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment
- Assist with achieving store goals and performance standards
