About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead store operations and support a strong customer-focused team. The role assists the Store Manager in maintaining daily attention to individual and team performance standards, achieving sales and profit projections, and creating an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction. The Assistant Store Manager helps develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and participates in recruiting and selecting team members. The role also involves following and enforcing company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties. Signet offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and other skills, along with opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners.
• Ability to use basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
