About The Position
Lori’s Gifts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a compassionate retail team in a hospital gift shop. The role supports a welcoming guest experience grounded in integrity, empathy, and excellence, while helping maintain store operations, merchandising, and sales standards. The position also assists with team scheduling, training, and coaching and may include independently opening and closing the store.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth and attentiveness.
- Maintain merchandising standards and support sales growth.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
- Follow visual merchandising and promotional guidelines.
- Uphold operational procedures and company policies.
- Accurately process transactions using POS systems and potentially handle bank deposits.
- Assist in scheduling, training, and coaching team members.
- Independently open and close the store.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
