About The Position

Goodwill Industries--Knoxville, Inc. is seeking a full-time Assistant Retail Store Manager. Ideal candidates will be energetic, flexible, have excellent customer service skills, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail facility and supervises staff and community service workers in the absence of the Store Manager.

Requirements

• 6 months – 1 year experience in supporting daily store operations and team leadership
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude with a passion for helping others
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Regularly required to stand and/or walk for long periods
• Use hands to handle
• Reach with hands and arms
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently

Nice To Haves

• Retail leadership or supervisory experience preferred
