About The Position
HUGO BOSS is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for its HUGO Fashion Show store in Nevada. The role supports store management in delivering an exceptional shopping experience, representing the HUGO BOSS brand through compelling merchandise presentations, and executing operational strategies that contribute to positive operating profits. The Assistant Store Manager helps develop staff, drive sales and profitability, manage inventory, ensure policy and Health & Safety compliance, and maintain strong relationships with customers and the local community. The role requires varied hours and days to oversee store operations.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial approach.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to process information and merchandise through computer and POS register systems.
- Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Nice To Haves
- BS college degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Train and develop staff through effective communication, while supporting exceptional customer service, the merchant group, and problem solving.
- Lead the team in achieving results by supporting sales, profit and loss management, and inventory control.
- Establish a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, client development, and exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures through store management and staff meetings, walk-throughs, and audits.
- Monitor performance, provide direction, and take corrective action when needed.
- Cultivate relationships with the community through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Evaluate performance issues and actively recruit candidates.
- Work varied hours and days to oversee store operations.
- Ensure Health & Safety conditions are fulfilled and support staff in maintaining high standards.
- Maintain knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures, and ensure related documentation is recorded and maintained.
