Retail Assistant Store Manager - Kenwood Towne Centre
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager helps lead LEGO® Brand Retail store operations and guest interactions, ensuring the LEGO® Brand, Vision, and Values are exemplified. Working with the Store Manager, this role helps improve store performance, maintain merchandising standards, achieve planned sales and key performance indicators, and foster a safe, positive, and fun team environment. The Assistant Store Manager helps recruit, coach, and develop a productive and collaborative team and delivers inspirational retail experiences grounded in LEGO® Brand values. The role requires full availability to work 40 hours per week and includes regular physical activity, including standing and moving for extended periods and lifting at least 30 lbs.
Requirements
- Management experience in a retail environment.
- Experience with Point of Sale systems and computer proficiency.
- Experience with loss prevention and cash management.
- Experience with recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Experience with scheduling and payroll management.
- Expertise in space management and visual merchandising.
- Full availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements: constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders; close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; and lifting at least 30 lbs.
