About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager and helps create a strong store and customer experience. The role leads by example, motivates the team to achieve sales goals, and ensures customers have a positive experience. When the Store Manager is away, the Assistant Store Manager leads the team and oversees smooth store operations while maintaining the ALDO brand experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of hands-on management experience in retail or service.
• Deep interest in fashion.
• Natural leadership ability and a growth mindset.
• Customer-first approach and ability to connect with people.
• Availability for day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to remain on feet and lift up to 35 lbs. (approximately 16 kg).

Responsibilities

• Bring ALDO brand initiatives to life by turning customer service into sales.
• Coach, train, and support team members with real-time feedback.
• Follow and reinforce loss prevention policies.
• Maintain visual merchandising and marketing displays.
• Build a fun, fashion-forward team culture.
• Support daily operations, including stock and behind-the-scenes logistics.
• Create a respectful, inclusive, discrimination-free workplace.
• Lead the store and motivate the team when the Store Manager is away.
