About The Position

The Stock Assistant Store Manager position is critical to our success, providing support to the Management Team in all areas of operations management and team leadership. You’ll drive the store’s daily performance, inspire a team of employees, and ensure seamless customer service delivery. By managing inventory, enhancing visual merchandising, and executing strategic sales management initiatives, you’ll directly contribute to the store’s profitability and overall success. This role is primarily focused on stock management, including monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels to ensure product availability aligns with customer demand. The Assistant Manager will oversee stock replenishment from backroom to sales floor, supervise the receiving and processing of incoming shipments, and utilize inventory management systems to maintain up-to-date records. Additional responsibilities include generating stock reports, supporting loss prevention initiatives through regular cycle counts, and leading a team of stock associates to drive efficiency and accountability.

• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales management goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Act as a brand ambassador by ensuring product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' high standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking processes, and organize the sales floor to create a seamless shopping experience.
• Oversee store systems, including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Support peak store operations by occasionally lifting and moving boxes (up to 50 lbs.).
• Drive revenue growth by implementing performance strategies, setting expectations, and exceeding sales goals.
• Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.
