About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our retail location at Wrentham Village Premium Outlets. In this role, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, deliver exceptional client experience, and lead a high-performing team. Requirements

  • 2–4 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong sales acumen and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in recruiting, onboarding, and developing store associates.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, modeling strong service behaviors and brand standards.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management to drive results.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high energy team culture.
  • Ensure every customer receives exceptional, personalized shopping experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Assist in achieving and exceeding store sales targets, KPIs, and conversion goals.
  • Analyze daily/weekly performance metrics and partner with the Store Manager to adjust strategies.
  • Motivate the team to meet individual and store wide goals.
  • Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and scheduling.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through stock management, cycle counts, and loss prevention practices.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and product presentation align with brand guidelines.
  • Support execution of promotions, product launches, and seasonal floor sets.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, outlet center regulations, and operational standards.
