About The Position

Russell Cellular, a Premium Wireless Agent for Verizon, is seeking a self-motivated individual for an Assistant Store Manager position. This role offers a career in retail sales with opportunities for growth and financial stability. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be the face of the team, responsible for facilitating retail sales, creating sales opportunities through marketing, and assisting the store manager with various operational duties. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills; ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base is desired
  • Motivation and an inner drive to learn, grow, and excel
  • A knack for technology and the ability to learn wireless quickly
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as need be
  • Outgoing, motivating, confident, positive team leader with an amazing ability to inspire others
  • Lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating retail sales of cellular phones, tablets, watches and other devices along with wireless services to the general public while demonstrating outstanding customer service
  • Creating additional sales opportunities through creative marketing campaigns
  • Continually increasing knowledge of telecommunications products and services
  • Seeking additional sales through creative marketing and community involvement
  • Assist the store manager in developing and monitoring action plans for the accomplishment of daily/month sales goals
  • Assist the store manager in pre-screening of job applicants and conducting interviews
  • Assist the store manager in shift scheduling
  • Assist in handling daily store operations such as opening/closing, inventory control, cash management, and various office/administrative duties
