About The Position

Vuori is seeking an Assistant Store Manager of Product to ensure the smooth operation of their retail store, with a strong emphasis on visual merchandising and product operations. This role involves identifying and resolving product operation challenges, collaborating with the General Manager and retail partners for continuous improvement, and utilizing reporting analytics for product planning. The Assistant Store Manager will also champion community engagement, cultivate relationships, inspire high-performing teams, foster a positive work environment, and empower staff to achieve retail priorities.

Requirements

Available morning and/or evening, work 8 hour shifts, 5 days/week, available at least 1 weekend day.
4+ years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience.
Comprehensive understanding of retail operations, including expertise in inventory management, visual merchandising principles, and implementation of highly effective sales techniques.
Established track record in retail sales leadership, driving sales targets through strategic planning, execution, and team motivation.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, excelling in the art of coaching, motivating, and mentoring team members.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Demonstrate exemplary leadership qualities that align with Vuori's culture.
Commit to upholding Vuori's brand standards and values, promoting sustainability, wellness, and community engagement.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to lift, bend, kneel, and safely climb up/down a ladder, the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds, and the ability to move around the store for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead daily and weekly product operations tasks, including inbound and outbound shipments, role-modeling and upholding Vuori’s SOPs.
Lead and champion the implementation of product operations initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency in inventory management and product handling.
Swiftly identify and address product concerns, collaborating with the General Manager and HQ partners for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Oversee the implementation of visual merchandising initiatives, including new product flips, mannequin looks, in-season product management, and overall in-store standards.
Collaborate with the Field Visual Merchandiser to implement and adapt visual merchandising strategies that meet brand standards and seasonal objectives.
Support the General Manager in promoting a culture of excellence, emphasizing open communication, trust, respect, punctuality, accountability, and commitment to role responsibilities.
Partner with the General Manager to implement hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training, development, and engagement strategy for store employees.
Champion a safe and healthy work environment by proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential hazards or risks, and implementing best practices and safety protocols.
Take proactive ownership of the sales floor and sales team to ensure customer experience remains the top priority.
Empower employees to make decisions and resolve customer issues independently.
Assist in the implementation of community initiatives, including product promotion, team sweat, and community event strategies.
Represent the Vuori brand while in store and at community events.
Assist the General Manager in schedule and labor management, adhering to company scheduling best practices and applicable labor laws.
Support payroll efficiency by aligning labor deployment to operational demand and achieving UPH targets.
Assist in management of store expenses, fully utilizing allocated budget.
