About The Position

The Assistant Store Leader assists the Store Leader with the day-to-day operations of the store, including hiring, training, and managing Team Members. This role focuses on driving memberships, building customer loyalty, and ensuring a best-in-class guest experience. The Assistant Store Leader also contributes to the financial success of the store by analyzing reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions. They are responsible for motivating and inspiring the team, communicating company standards, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. This role involves active coaching, decision-making, and talent selection and development.

• Ability to work various hours, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to smile and maintain a clean appearance as per the dress and grooming standards
• Ability to assign and delegate tasks
• Prolonged periods standing and working on the cash register or related equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Clean driving record, meaning that you may not have any major moving violations or serious preventable accidents within the last 3-5 years
• Must have a current Driver’s License (not suspended or expired)

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists Store Leader with hiring and training new Team Members
• Assists with coordinating the day-to-day workflow of Team Members in the operation; supports team by providing direction
• Assists the Store Leader with employment actions, including discipline and termination of Team Members in accordance with company policy
• Monitors the store’s level of performance, identifying and facilitating opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency
• Assist customers with questions or price discrepancies
• Enforces the proper use of sales pitches with the Team
• Maintains proper cash accountabilities at POS registers
• Performs other duties as assigned
