About The Position

The Assistant Stewarding Manager plays a key leadership role within the Food & Beverage operation, supporting the Stewarding Manager in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and operational efficiency. This role ensures that back-of-house operations run seamlessly, enabling our culinary and service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

• Previous experience in stewarding or back-of-house operations within a luxury hotel or high-volume hospitality environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams
• Solid knowledge of sanitation standards, health and safety regulations, and operational best practices
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
• A positive attitude, hands-on leadership style, and commitment to excellence
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the stewarding department, ensuring all kitchens, restaurants, and service areas meet Four Seasons cleanliness and safety standards
• Lead, train, and motivate the stewarding team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and HACCP regulations
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and task assignments to meet operational needs
• Oversee proper use, storage, and maintenance of kitchen equipment, china, glassware, and silverware
• Assist with inventory control, cost management, and waste reduction initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage leadership to support service flow and special events
• Step in for the Stewarding Manager as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations
