About The Position
The Assistant Sports Performance Coach is to support the Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Performance in the development of high-performance student athletes by providing varsity teams and athletes with year-round coaching and educational programs related to strength, speed, and conditioning. The University of Portland is a National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I institution and West Coast Conference (WCC) member located in Portland, Oregon.
Requirements
- Experience in strength, speed, and conditioning for student athletes.
- Knowledge of NCAA Division I and West Coast Conference standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Performance in the development of high-performance student athletes.
- Provide varsity teams and athletes with year-round coaching and educational programs related to strength, speed, and conditioning.
