About The Position

The Case Management Specialist is responsible for conducting fair, thorough, timely, and objective workplace investigations across North America. This role serves as a centralized subject matter expert and partner to Human Resources, Legal, Employee Relations, Compliance, and business leaders to ensure allegations of misconduct are investigated consistently and in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. The Case Management Specialist independently manages a broad range of employee relations and ethics matters, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace conduct, policy violations, conflicts of interest, and other sensitive concerns. The role is responsible for maintaining high-quality documentation, delivering defensible findings, helping drive organizational consistency and risk mitigation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3–5+ years of experience conducting workplace investigations, employee relations, compliance, legal, labor relations, HRBP, or related work
  • Demonstrated experience interviewing employees and assessing conflicting information
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to balance speed, quality, consistency, and risk management

Nice To Haves

  • Employee relations, investigations, compliance, labor relations, or HR specialization experience
  • Experience supporting multi-state and/or Canadian employee populations
  • Bilingual Spanish speaker
  • Experience with case management systems and investigation tracking tools
  • SHRM, HRCI, or investigation-related certifications

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage end-to-end workplace investigations from intake through resolution
  • Conduct interviews with complainants, witnesses, and accused individuals
  • Gather and assess relevant evidence including documentation, communications, policies, and employment records
  • Evaluate credibility and conflicting information using a fact-based, objective approach
  • Develop findings and recommendations supported by documented evidence
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely investigation records
  • Prepare investigation summaries and findings documents
  • Ensure investigations meet established service level expectations and quality standards
  • Manage competing priorities and case volumes while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Compliance, Legal, Asset Protection, and business leaders throughout investigations
  • Provide consultation regarding investigation strategy, risk mitigation, and policy interpretation
  • Facilitate case review discussions and recommendations regarding outcomes
  • Escalate high-risk matters appropriately
  • Support reporting efforts related to case volume, aging, trends, and outcomes
  • Contribute insights that drive proactive prevention and manager education efforts
  • Ensure investigations are conducted in alignment with company standards and established procedures
  • Support investigation calibration activities and quality reviews
  • Assist in developing investigation tools, templates, and best practices
  • Participate in training and ongoing capability building within the COE
