About The Position

Planned Companies is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor for Security. This role involves supervising a staff of employees and working with management to handle all security duties of a site. The Assistant Site Supervisor will support the Site Supervisor in overseeing daily security operations, ensuring all posts are staffed and protocols are consistently followed. Key aspects include supervising, coaching, and directing security officers, assisting with scheduling and timekeeping, monitoring access control and surveillance systems, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and training new personnel. The position also involves ordering inventory supplies, uniforms, and work orders, inspecting completed work, and assisting during emergencies.

Requirements

• Experience supervising a staff and day to day operations.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Three years of experience in security services and/or building maintenance/janitorial, including lead responsibilities
• Multi tasks work and perform well under pressure.
• Eager to learn and take on additional responsibility.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, reasoning, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, highly organized, attention to detail, courteous, friendly, hardworking, and professional.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather.
• May be required to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of employees, while working with management to handle all security duties of a site.
• Will order inventory supplies, uniforms, and work orders for sites.
• Inspect completed work for conformance standards.
• Assist during emergencies on site.
• Support the Site Supervisor in overseeing daily security operations, ensuring all posts are staffed and protocols are consistently followed
• Supervise, coach, and provide direction to security officers during shifts, reinforcing performance standards and professionalism
• Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and timekeeping to maintain adequate site coverage at all times
• Monitor access control, surveillance systems (CCTV), and incident reporting to ensure a safe and secure environment
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and escalations, coordinating with local authorities when necessary
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections to identify safety risks, security breaches, or policy violations
• Train new security personnel on site-specific procedures, post orders, and client expectations
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation
• All other job duties as requested/required.
