About The Position

DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality. In this role, you’ll work within a 5-15k sq ft distribution center, will assist in leading the local warehouse operating team, and in some locations, includes preparing food in a light-prep kitchen, and help the Site Manager ensure we maintain high quality for our customers.

Requirements

  • Proven leader with experience managing high-performance teams of 5+ employees with successful performance and employee development outcomes.
  • Excited to have ownership in a new and rapidly growing business.
  • Ability to solve problems from first principles and resist "this is how it’s always been done" thinking.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and thriving in fast-paced, startup environments.
  • Analytical and data-first problem solver, with experience using Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis (including basic formulas and pivot tables).
  • 3+ years of experience in Operations, Warehouse Logistics, Customer Service, Retail Management, Fulfillment, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience managing a team.
  • Flexibility in schedule, including regularly scheduled late-night and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of hourly Operations Associates and Shift Leads, fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Hire, coach, and develop high-performing team members.
  • Serve as a change agent for the site, helping the team navigate new initiatives and growth projects.
  • Tackle onsite escalations and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
  • Drive results in assigned focus areas or shifts through effective scheduling and inventory management.
  • Execute inventory management processes and deploy best practices from across the network.
  • Engage cross-functional partners as needed for support.
  • Analyze data and make strategic recommendations regarding resource allocation, workflow, and warehouse organization.
  • Lead process improvement projects within assigned focus areas.
  • Coach and empower the team to provide a high-quality customer experience, focusing on order accuracy and fulfillment speed.
  • Work cross-functionally with central teams to ensure the team has necessary tools and resources.
