As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll partner with the Site Manager to provide leadership, support your team, and ensure high-quality, person-centered services. Through your guidance and commitment to excellence, you'll help individuals build independence, achieve their goals, and experience meaningful community engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or 4 years equivalent experience).
  • Two years of direct experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, which includes experience in the administration of Adult Services programs.
  • Three to five years of management experience with operational accountability
  • Must submit to a BCII/FBI background check and Nurses Aid & Abuser Registry checks.
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and insurability standards.
  • Must pass a drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of DODD regulations; familiarity with CMS, OOD, and CARF standards is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other technology used to support daily operations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support exceptional Adult Day Services by helping oversee daily center-based and community-based operations that provide engaging, meaningful, and person-centered experiences.
  • Lead and support your team by coaching, mentoring, and providing day-to-day guidance to Participant Engagement Specialists and Direct Support Professionals while promoting accountability and collaboration.
  • Champion person-centered outcomes by ensuring services are delivered in accordance with Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and helping individuals build independence, self-advocacy, and community connections.
  • Drive program excellence by monitoring participation, engagement, and satisfaction while identifying opportunities to improve services and individual outcomes.
  • Partner in operational success by assisting with staffing, scheduling, program oversight, facility needs, and daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality services.
  • Promote quality and compliance by helping ensure services meet CMS, DODD, OOD, and CARF standards while supporting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Build meaningful relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, community organizations, and internal teams to strengthen services and expand opportunities.
  • Support talent development by participating in recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and recognizing team members while helping foster an engaged and high-performing workplace.
  • Advocate for individuals served by participating in ISP meetings, supporting individual goals, and helping ensure services are implemented effectively.
  • Step into leadership when needed by supporting the Site Manager and confidently leading operations during their absence to ensure continuity of high-quality services.
