About The Position

The Greater Richmond YMCA is looking for a positive role model to help plan programming, assist with overseeing the center and supervise children in our after-school child care program at Bellwood Elementary. Requirements

  • General experience with budgeting and program administration is helpful
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record are also necessary
  • Degree in a related field or CDA required or meet DSS licensing requirements
  • Minimum age is 18
  • Candidates must be responsible and energetic
  • CPR/AED Certification (within 90 days of employment)
  • First Aid Certification (within 90 days of employment)
  • Medication Administration Training (MAT) (within 90 days of employment)

  • Sight and sound supervision of a group of school age children
  • Day-to-day operations of a school-age child care center
  • Snack purchasing
  • Lesson planning
  • Parent engagement
