About The Position

The Assistant Server is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining room while assisting servers, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. This position supports the front-of-house team by clearing and resetting tables, replenishing supplies, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness and efficiency. Guest interaction is a key component in this role while supporting the serving staff to ensure each and every guest has the perfect fine dining experience every time.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds
Ablility to remain standing or walking for entirety of shift length
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant experience preferred

Responsibilities

Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including floors, chairs, booths, and service stations
Assist with setup of restaurant before each shift stock, and reset restaurant as assigned by management
Assist servers by delivering water, bread, or other items as needed
Refill beverages when appropriate
Restock service stations with napkins, silverware, glassware, condiments, and other supplies
Polish silverware and glassware
Assist with food running when needed
Remove trash and debris from dining areas
Follow all health and sanitation guidelines
Work along side servers to provide friendly and professional guest service at all times
Must be able to learn and recite the menu should guests have questions
Maintain a positive and professional attitude and demeanor
