About The Position

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an Assistant Security Supervisor to join the Security team at First Hawaiian Center. This role will proactively support efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for First Hawaiian Bank employees, vendors/contractors, visitors, materials, and assets on premises. The Assistant Security Supervisor will also perform routine security guard duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma / GED or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Guard Employee Registration ("Guard Card") within six (6) months of hire required
• First Aid, CPR, and AED trained; or ability to complete within six (6) months of hire required
• Three years of experience in physical security operations, law enforcement, private security or related field required
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and foster cooperation from all levels of employees
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate reports, incident documentation and correspondence
• Ability to exercise sound judgement, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information
• Proficiency in the use of security communication equipment, including telephones, portable radios, and related systems
• Working knowledge of computer systems, and standard business software (e.g., Office 365 suite of applications, and security system interfaces)
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts, based on operational needs
• Availability to respond to on-call situations outside of regular business hours; must always maintain reliable contact information

Responsibilities

• Assists in the oversight and coordination of the physical security program at First Hawaiian Center (FHC).
• Performs routine security guard duties as required.
