Delaware North Gaming is searching for an Assistant Security Manager to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As Assistant Security Manager, you will be working to direct and oversee security operations as defined by leadership, supervising collaborative team members through planning and scheduling of work assignments and performance development. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 21 years of age, as required by applicable laws and regulations
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
• pass a motor vehicle records check and drug test
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with minimum supervision

• Security supervisory, law enforcement, or related experience is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Training team members, assigning department schedules, ensuring all post positions are filled according to company needs, overseeing the timekeeping system, ensuring team members punch in and out promptly, and accurately documenting staff attendance, late arrivals, and overtime.
• Recover, tag, log, secure, and inventory lost and found items, attempting to locate the owner, and keep an accurate and up-to-date log of warnings issued.
• Investigate incidents, motor vehicle accidents, and medical situations
• Keep an updated log of counterfeit currency recovered and controlled substances found on the property, as well as reporting procedural violations and illegal activity
• Comply with confidentiality regulations regarding all security and administrative information
• May be required to operate a company vehicle
