About The Position

Children of America (COA) is seeking passionate and dedicated Assistant School Directors to join our team. As an Assistant School Director, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team of educators, and implementing our educational programming for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow in your field within a supportive company culture that values diversity and individual contributions. Our programs cater to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, pre-K, and include before/after care and summer camp.

Requirements

Minimum Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed childcare facility
Advanced knowledge in early childhood education
Flexible in challenging situations
Strong organizational skills
Ability to build strong relationships
Commitment to professional development
Effective decision-making skills
Proficient in the use of technology, including industry applications and MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must meet state requirements
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability and willingness to drive and/or travel up to 10% of the time for training, professional development, and organizational meetings

Continuously pursue quality care through the execution of our curriculum.
Manage all day-to-day operations utilizing COA's processes, procedures, and policies.
Meet all COA performance standards in terms of operations and education as outlined in your annual budget.
