About The Position

SmartStyle Salon, conveniently located inside Walmart, is a premier salon offering high-quality hair services. Our team of passionate and talented professional hairstylists is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our clients. This role involves providing exceptional leadership, guest service, understanding guest needs, performing quality consultations, and executing services efficiently and professionally. The franchise owner, Requis Inc., is one of the largest salon franchises in the US with over 500 employees nationwide.

Requirements

• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by State regulations.
• Willingness to lead and assist a salon manager.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Tech savvy.
• Ability to perform administrative tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Good eyesight for observing guest's hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Comfortable with standing, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements.
• Occasional lifting of 10-25 lbs.
• Comfortable with fragrances and chemicals used in treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional leadership and guest service.
• Understand guest needs and provide quality consultations.
• Perform services requested in an efficient and professional manner.
• Assist the salon manager.
• Perform administrative tasks, including potentially closing out the system at the end of the day.
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
