About The Position

At Anytime Fitness Paris, our Assistant Sales Manager goes far beyond front desk or sales — it’s about creating an incredible first impression, building real relationships, and helping every person who walks through our doors feel supported, seen, and successful in their fitness journey. As our Assistant Sales Manager, you’ll be the face of our gym, guiding new members, supporting existing ones, and helping our community thrive in a positive, coaching-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome & Connect: Greet every member and guest by name whenever possible, create a warm, friendly, and motivating atmosphere, and make every interaction feel personal, not transactional.
  • Guide New Members: Conduct tours that focus on goals, not just equipment, ask thoughtful, open-ended questions to understand each person’s needs, and present Anytime Fitness Paris as a coaching gym that delivers real results, clearly explaining memberships, policies, and club benefits.
  • Drive Membership & Training Success: Confidently present membership options and club services, overcome objections by educating and consulting, not pressuring, promote club initiatives, technology, and coaching programs, and sell memberships, personal training, and retail products.
  • Follow Up & Support: Reach out to leads from online inquiries and walk-ins, follow up with members who haven’t been in recently, contact members with billing or account issues to help resolve them, and celebrate member wins and milestones.
  • Create an Exceptional Club Experience: Keep the club clean, organized, and welcoming, restock, wipe down, and detail equipment and common areas, and maintain a high standard of professionalism and appearance.
  • Build Community: Engage members in challenges, technology, and club initiatives, help execute in-club events, promotions, and community partnerships, and contribute ideas that improve the member experience.
  • Social Media & Marketing Support: Create and post engaging content for our club’s social media, and highlight member wins, promotions, and club culture.
