About The Position

The Assistant Retail Store Manager partners with a store manager to oversee the daily operation of an AT&T retail store. The role supports merchandising and product launches, helps meet and exceed sales objectives, and ensures customers have an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services. The position also includes outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed. The Assistant Retail Store Manager coaches and develops retail sales consultants to help them meet sales and service goals. AT&T provides paid training to support leadership success.

Requirements

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
Prior management experience.
Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
Strategic perspective and the ability to champion change.
Ability to inspire a team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
Ability to use professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.

Responsibilities

Partner with the store manager to oversee all aspects of daily retail store operations.
Assist with merchandising and product launches.
Help meet and exceed sales objectives.
Ensure customers receive an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services.
Perform outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed.
Coach and develop retail sales consultants to meet sales and service goals.
Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
Champion change and take initiative to create results.
