About The Position

As a family-owned, award-winning destination, we inspire both guests and team members alike. Position: Create friendly and luxurious environment for guests to enjoy while on property. Support the GM- Wilderness Outpost in daily retail operations and keep a pulse on the long-term goals of the department. This position will help ensure retail team members provide exceptional service to fellow team members and guests.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in product-based retail operations.
  • 1+ years experience in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of world class hospitality and guest service management.
  • Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
  • Valid State Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Shopify preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor when engaging with guests and team members.
  • Engages with guests and staff in a friendly and meaningful way.
  • Develops and leads seasonal team members by investing in them and helping them learn new skills.
  • Support the Wilderness Outpost coffee shop/guest lounge as needed.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to guests/customers and team members.
  • Create and maintain an organized and visually appealing environment to enhance the guest/customer experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize day-to-day business needs.
  • Partners with GM- Wilderness Outpost to communicate with merchants and vendors, as needed.
  • Keeps GM- Wilderness Outpost fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so that prompt and corrective action can be taken when appropriate.
  • Educates self, staff, and guests on merchandise and events on property.
  • Fulfill, package, and ship online and in store orders with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Assists in managing inventory and resolving any issues regarding damages or returns or Purchase Order discrepancies.
  • Updates purchase orders in inventory management system.
  • Partners to assist in providing thoughtful amenities and for groups and special events.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Owns tasks given by GM- Wilderness Outpost.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and holidays.
