About The Position

CULINAIRE provides upscale food and beverage management services to a very diverse collection of national accounts to include art museums, cultural landmarks, hotels, performing arts centers, restaurants, and special event venues. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will assist in the day-to-day food service operation. The position entails ensuring the standards of excellence are met, supervises staff, and may support leadership with financial responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 4 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
  • Luxury hotel exp
  • Experience in fine dining restaurants
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing cost controls is preferred.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
  • Associate’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all functional areas of the restaurant.
  • Trains, manages, and develops hourly associates.
  • Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with the company culinary and marketing team.
  • Oversees ordering, inventory and cost controls.
  • Assists with catering events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
