About The Position

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be highly passionate about Food & Wine and committed to creating the ultimate dining experience. This role involves consistently managing the restaurant to a definitive Five-Star level, implementing and maintaining service standards, and ensuring team accountability. The ideal candidate will be an innovator who understands driving food and service standards, ensuring the Brand DNA is utilized in all decision-making and procedures. This position facilitates an environment of teamwork and communication with all departments within the resort, collaborates with the Chef and Beverage Department/Sommelier to maintain extensive food and beverage knowledge among staff, and maintains a daily discipline of inspecting service consistency and behaviors to the desired standard. A guest-first approach is essential for setting operational objectives, and the manager will create and hold accountable a highly motivated and productive management team, maintaining management stature as a leader in the competitive set of restaurants. Secondary responsibilities include completing administrative duties such as payroll, scheduling, daily correspondence, and budget adherence, understanding and communicating financial objectives and results, effectively responding to guest and staff needs, and delegating efficiently to the Assistant Dining Room Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Hospitality preferred
  • Sommelier certification preferred
