About The Position

The Walden Street School is a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Walden provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff. In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students!

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Experience in a residential or mental health setting is required.
  • Experience at the supervisory or management level in residential setting required.
  • Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting clients is required.
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.

  • Speak a second language fluently, other than English.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in oversight of the Residential Department with the Residential Director.
  • Provide care and treatment of our students.
  • Assist in ensuring all Residential systems are being followed and completed on a daily basis.
  • Provide on call coverage.
  • Provide constant oversight of scheduling procedures.
  • Ensure staffing ratios are being met at all times.
  • Provide accountability and disciplinary action decisions as needed for all Residential Staff.
  • Lead residential meetings and trainings.
  • Run residential shifts when needed.
  • Assist in providing physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our clients.
