About The Position

EAH Housing is seeking a full-time Assistant Resident Manager I for Los Robles, a 140-unit affordable family housing community in Union City, CA. This role involves assisting the Resident Manager in the operation of the site to ensure effective fiscal, physical, and social soundness. The Assistant Resident Manager is expected to take initiative in problem-solving and assist with employee supervision with minimal oversight. EAH Housing is a mission-based nonprofit organization with over 50 years of experience in real estate development and management, dedicated to creating opportunities for people to live better lives.

Requirements

  • 1+ Year of Affordable Housing Property Management Experience
  • Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH and ADA Guidelines
  • Skilled in Problem Solving and Resident Relations
  • Strong Computer and Phone Skills
  • 1+ years of tax-credit experience
  • Yardi Voyager experience
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be reliable

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists with Collecting Rent, Bank Deposits, Preparing and Submitting Rent Roll and Income Verification
  • Monitors Work Orders and Walks the grounds Daily
  • Answers Telephone, Files, Prepares Correspondence
  • Assist Residents with Questions or Problems
  • Assists with Evictions, Annual Inspections and Repairs
  • Assist with Re-certifications; Resident Notification, Setting up Appointments, Tracking
