Senior Living Residences - East Greenwich's Resident Care team members provide direct care to senior residents in a safe, home-like, and fun work environment. The Assistant Resident Care Director supports the management of comprehensive care plans for all residents, including those in traditional Assisted Living and the specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia care neighborhood. This role also supports the training of CNAs and serves as a liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians, and care providers.

Requirements

  • An ability to maintain professional integrity and to build trust, especially in challenging situations
  • RN who is a graduate of an approved nursing program with valid Rhode Island nursing license or otherwise meets the requirements of Assisted Living regulations, or equivalent
  • Experience in a senior community environment
  • Means of transportation to complete assessments for new and returning residents

Responsibilities

  • Supports with the management of comprehensive care plans for all residents of the community, including traditional Assisted Living residents as well as those in our specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia care neighborhood
  • Supports with the training of our team of CNAs
  • Serves as a liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians and care providers
  • Requires on-call responsibilities to best support the staff and community
