Assistant Resident Care Director (Nurse Manager, RN)
About The Position
Anchor Bay - East Providence's Resident Care team members provide direct care to senior residents in a safe, home-like, and fun work environment. The Assistant Resident Care Director (ARCD) supports the management of comprehensive care plans for all residents, including those in traditional Assisted Living and specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia care neighborhoods. The ARCD also assists with training CNAs and acts as a liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians, and care providers.
Requirements

- An ability to maintain professional integrity and to build trust, especially in challenging situations
- An RN who is a graduate of an approved nursing program with valid Rhode Island nursing license or otherwise meets the requirements of Assisted Living regulations, or equivalent
- Experience in a senior community environment
- A means of transportation to complete assessments for new and returning residents
Responsibilities
- Support with the management of comprehensive care plans for all residents of the community, including traditional Assisted Living residents as well as those in our specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia care neighborhood
- Support with the training of our team of CNAs
- Serve as a liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians and care providers
- Be available for on-call responsibilities to best support the staff and community
