This position oversees daily maintenance operations at a development. The role involves supervising the repair of structures and equipment, including roof tanks, standpipe systems, sprinkler systems, and auxiliary equipment. The Assistant Resident Buildings Superintendent is responsible for the care of buildings and grounds through labor and material resources, monitoring inventory supply and arranging for replenishment, conducting building inspections, and following up on repairs for PHAS preparations. The role also includes monitoring work orders in Maximo, deploying staff to address repairs, and overseeing repair work done by Maintenance Workers in residents' apartments and public spaces. Additionally, the position supervises the preparation of move-outs. This appointment may be made on a provisional basis, and no tenure or permanence accrues by virtue of such an appointment. This position is open to qualified persons with a disability eligible for the 55-a Program.
