This position oversees daily maintenance operations at a development, including the repair of structures and equipment, maintenance of roof tanks, standpipe systems, sprinkler systems, and auxiliary equipment. The role supervises the care of buildings and grounds through labor and material resources, monitors inventory supply and arranges for replenishment, and conducts building inspections. Additionally, the Assistant Resident Building Superintendent monitors work orders in Maximo, deploys staff to address repairs, oversees repair work done by Maintenance Workers in residents' apartments and public spaces, and supervises the preparation of move-outs. This role is open to qualified persons with a disability eligible for the 55-a Program and is a promotional opportunity for NYCHA employees who have served one year at their current location and in their current title and level.
