Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One to six months experience
- Must have valid and clean NYS Driver License
Responsibilities
- Assist Residence Manager to perform all duties related to oversight of assigned residential program serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Function as Manager in Manager's absence.
- Train, supervise and evaluate all direct support professionals employed in the residence
- Ensure staff are trained with the necessary skills to provide the appropriate care and support
- Ensure families and advocates are informed of the individual's condition and progress
- Monitor medication administration to ensure accuracy
- Ensure implementation of goals and plans are provided
- Ensure the overall quality of the appearance of the residence
- Ensure the program is in compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Direct support duties in absence of staff
